oh poo.

after berni looked up her ATAR estimate, i looked up my ATAR dreeaaaaaam. i just realised for the past 6 months i had been using it wrong. so my 'dream' result is higher than i thought hmm.

argh! ):

OKAAAAAAY enough of getting depressed over ATAR estimates. i'm watching the day after tomorrow right now. everytime i watch it i get more freaked out about climate change T.T! i shouldn't take movies so seriously but whenever i watch anything, it just gets me thinking about the worst case scenario that could happen in real life ahahah.

so what has happened this week?

there are only two really good things that i can think of right now. on thursday i had 5th period free so i left at 1.30 to go to the city. i met up with tim :D and we went to greenfields to get taffeta & acetate for my textiles major. afterwards we headed for circular quay and made it to the australian music centre. i arrived at the music library 15 minutes before it was going to close so i rushed my orders to get my books. i wish i had more time there! )': but yesssss.. getting my stuff and seeing tim, twas a good day. :D

the only other great thing that happened this week was.. i got the work experience with valerie tolosa during the holidays. yaaay! (: mmm i'll be busy majority of the two weeks, if anyone wants to do/plan anything i'll be free tuesdays and weekends hmmm :D .. although i do plan for my piano/tutoring to take place on the tuesdays i think. i'll see how i go closer towards the holidays mhm!

okay i can't think of anything really WOW to say.. so i'm just going to head off to bed. mm i know i asked this earlier but who reads my blog? can you just comment or say hi or something in the cbox, i sometimes feel like i'm talking to myself. or maybe berni too.. hello berni! x)

hullo.

FRIDAY: happy birthday fiiiii (: i hope you had a good one, sorry i couldn't see you that day aw. yep, i was sick on friday. thursday evening my head was seriously pounding. i had a super baaad cold. i couldn't concentrate on my work (textiles) so i slept early (1.30am) LOL T.T! the next morning i woke up feeling sooo dead, my mum made me stay home. mm went to the doctor, i have antibiotics now :D. i didn't do much the rest of the day. cleaned the house.. i couldn't focus on study cos my head hurt so much urgh.

SATURDAY: my head felt a lot better! :D i went to english tutor with erica.. in the skin of a lion zzz.. still don't get it. lalala went home and cleaned up the house cos my mum's birthday party was going to be later in the evening.

at 1.30 i stopped cleaning cos.. I HAD MY FIRST DRIVING LESSON! i suck at driving!! T.T the first thing i did in the car was press on the brake and not want to let go. when the instructor convinced me to relax a bit i stepped on the accelerator and we zoomed down the street. i screamed. ahh good thing she had the other brake on the passenger side or we would've crashed into another parked car o_o. mm we drove around like 20 culdesacs? so my turns were.. alright at the end of the lesson. driving is easy and hard at the same time.. ahh o_o! mm so after the lesson i drove back home :D!

i continued to help clean up the house. we left for thai place at epping at 6pm for my mum's birthday dinner. when we got there they had put up happy 60th birthday LOL (my mum turned 50 last week haha). dinner was goooood! i love that restaurant (: mmm so after everyone came to our house for the cake and other nibblies.. twas good fun!

TODAY: i went to state library! .. by myself. it's a really good library! now i have another library card wooo (: but next time i go, i think i'd like to go with atleast one person. mmm so after going through books for 2 hours i ran to martin place station.. IN HEELS. i killed my feet today. i bought my train ticket at the station, then i had 1 minute to race to the platform to catch my train. i ran down the escalator, i accidentally hit this guy, the doors closed right in my face AND i stacked it cos i lost my balance when i realsied i couldn't fit through the slit in the doors, so i came to a sudden stop. that just totally killed my feet! (: i had to wait another 14 minutes for the next train ngeeer.

humdedum.. so i read in the skin of a lion while i waited and then trained it to town hall. i called kev and berry once i got to town hall station because kerry had to give me something BUT HE FORGOT THAT I WAS GOING TO THE CITY TODAY LOL :D!

ah well.. so after that cherry texted me to go to timezone and find harry. oh right, i planned to meet cherry today after studying. mhm so i found harry, just watched him playing his drum game for a while and then cherry came YAY! i realsied that i haven't seen cherry for aaaaaages! D: i don't eveen remember, maybe the last time i saw her was like.. her graduation wow >__O?! cherry gave harry these two movies/dramas? and then we left for lunch. we walked around a bit and settled for the chinese food court near chinatown. mm we had a good walk and talk.. we also went to paddy's and then my feet hurt so much so i had to buy these aboriginal print thongs for $5 hahaha. mm.. i left at around 4.. i wish i could've stayed longer ): but it was good to see you cherry! (:

i just got home not long agoo.. thanks berni for telling me about the library. maybe next time you go i'll join you if i have a lot of written work to be done. anyway i got home and looked at my feet. i have seven blisters and my ankle hurts sooo much! i think i'm going to be walking really slow or even limping tomorrow. haah

cherry and i saw a giant ugg boot on george street. ehehehehe.

sore throat o:

good evening! maaan my throat hurts, i started off with flu-like symptoms last week and now i just have this really sore throat. i wake up in the mornings with no voice and it slowly recovers by the time i reach school haha. i might see the doctor soon if this persists.

so this week has been.. normal? NO WAIT, it's actually been pretty funny and interesting :D! finding out about who sent secret admirer valentine's day roses and other people love interests LOL. ahh i knew you were lying jackie hah! anyway right now i should be having my make up jap tutor lesson BUT i think sensei forgot about me cos 40 minutes have passed and she hasn't arrived yet. i also called her and she didn't pick up. AND this week she was supposed to bring this other student whos doing jap beginners to work with me O:! oh well.

humdedum.. i don't have much to say! oh i recieved my english assessment mark back! i was so surprised, i'm quite happy with my mark :D but then again i didn't do so well in the previous assessment so i guess i'm around average now. damnnnnnn ): so now we're starting on our new text, 'in the skin of a lion'. i started to read it properly today AND IT'S SOO CONFUSING! ah well, hopefully i'll understand it by the time the weekend comes (: english is boring and funny at the same time ehehe. jeffery talking for a whole hour, then we watch everyone fall asleep and then blind texting rens cos virgin to virgin = freee! then jaclyn and i just take turns saying hi and saying completely random things to him ahahah!

okay so i have textiles assessment and homework to do. then piano practise (must get that bartok page done T.T!), english book and a little bit of math revision.. integration?! i guess it's best i get off now and get to work. sorry for not posting berni! hope this is okay o.o!?

okay, so i’m just going to recap for all of youu (:

FRIDAY: i woke up at 4.10am :D!! i heard my alarm and woke up straight away, i felt so proud of myself. i showered, dressed up, had everything packed and set off for jaclyn's place at 5am. as we (my mum and i) arrived at jaclyn's driveway we realised all the lights in the house weren't on. hmm i was a bit scared to walk up in the dark T.T so i called jaclyn... AND SHE HAD JUST WOKEN UP HAHAHA D: (she was supposed to wake up at 4 LOL).

lalala.. yat arrived two minutes after me and yat worked on her ext. english , jaclyn showered/packed and i sat on jaclyn's bed :D after jaclyn was ready we set off for school at 6.20.. instead of 5.30 (:

hmm so we arrived at school at around 6.40ish? and a third of the valentine’s day committee was there already. i was really surprised that roses weren't there but they came a few minutes after we had been in the staff common room. so the roses came and there was a mad rush with wrapping, ribbons and tags flying everywhere. as the time passed, people got used to the pattern, -roses out, wrapping, ribbons, tags, give to stella to sort- so we become more organised haha. we finished everything just as the bell went and angels and cupids were on their way just as first period was starting.

we went around to all blocks handing out roses and doing singograms for the kids. most of the kids who got a singogram were pretty embarrassed, but it was hilarious for everyone else ;D. ahhh twas so much fun, i’m not going to forget that day <3

SATURDAY: CNY EVE! O: i cancelled my english tutor cos i was in a total cbb mood and i didn’t really have any work anyway. i was supposed to have my very first driving lesson but my driving instructor called in the morning informing me that she was sick so we planned the lesson to be exact time next week now T.T

hmhmhm.. studied most of the arvo (jap and maths!) and then some stuff happened.. mm bev don’t worry about me i think i’ll be fine. i’m not doing anything stupid like before 8) nyehh.. i’ll just talk to you about stuff tmr hahaha. anyway so family friends came over for cny eve dinner! and my mood was back to normal again. ahh right, so earlier in the day my mum really wanted to go out for cny eve dinner. we called 7 restaurants and all were full except this one restaurant in north rocks but they had one table left at the 9pm session xD mum ended up calling everyone over to our place and yeaaah.. it was still really goood (:

oh yeee!! did any of you guys have floods around your area? we live on the top of a hill but we still ended up having small floods in our backyard. and our friends were stuck on murray farm road in carlingford with water going past their windows.. IN CARLINGFORDD! that freaked me out cos that was so close to home hahaha ><

TODAY: valentine’s day and cny! my mums so cute! she bought my dad, my sister and myself a box of heart shaped chocolates each. thats all for valentine’s day hahah xD

happy new year! year of the tiger. bad luck for monkeys. wear your golden pigs. don’t travel too much, especially in the north east direction. stay close to your friends. LOL maybe i take this all too seriously. i didn’t do too much today. dropped tara off to towers for work and then my mum and i did a bit of grocery shopping. i ran off for 5 mins to buy my mum’s birthday present! (her birthday is tmr :3) my mum “hinted”, no actually more like a “jade i want this for my birthday, can you buy it now”... HAHAH yee she wanted this sterling silver necklace with gold droplets at the end of the two links.. its really pretty x) so i asked tara to split it with me. yup.

afterwards i studied all arvo and at 6 we left for our church friends house. i was pretty - out of it- there.. everyone saying “ohh.. year 12! very big year for you ehh! lalala.. i zoned out after hearing it 5 times lol. mmm it’s pretty late now, promised my parents i’d be in bed before 11. best if i get off now. i’ll just leave you with this picture of this evening. argh i forget the name of this dish! .. i always do >< but you’re supposed to toss the noodles up and the person who tosses the highest will get the best luck. ahh it was pretty fun watching, one of the uncles from church tossed the highest. you should’ve seen him dancing around with joy after x)

so this morning i woke up feeling quite satisfied. today was going to be a good day! or was it?

i slept early the night before, i woke up early the next day, i had a good breakfast, i was out of the door before 7.15, my mum was in a really good mood, i had all my homework done, there were the normal *small high school dramas* (loll), overall everything was pretty good.

that was until this morning where mr hughes told us the bad news. when everyone heard what he had to say the whole room turned silent. the only thing you could hear were a few shuffling feet from the few teachers coming into h block and the sobbing from fellow students and teachers who couldn't believe the news.

this is the third death i've heard of in a week of a person i know.. but i guess the news this morning hit me the hardest because i actually knew of the person more, like i didn't really know this guy, maybe talked to him once/twice in my life?! but when he was in school i always saw him dancing and having fun, that soul was so full of life..

why does this have to happen? especially to someone so young.. he only finished school a few months ago, he was just about to start his own life in uni or tafe or whatever he had planned.. sometimes i seriously think that god isn't fair. ):

sorry if that offends anyone, but sometimes i really wonder why does he let people go at the wrong time, why does he let people go through so much pain.. if he is so mighty why can't he do more to help.. urgh and now all christian people are going to come up to me and encourage me to go to church and find out the reasons to everything. hmm mr simovic's questioning in maths class about religion/christianity gets me thinking more.. maybe about the wrong things hah.

.. i haven't been to church in ages and nothing/noone has really inspired me to believe much right now. sorry if i upset someone with my ranting now.. ._.

anyway back to what i was saying before. even though i hardly knew this guy i cried. just the whole thought of being so young, having so many great things coming in the future and i knew that he had a lot of friends.. it is going to affect a lot of people around the school/community too. argh and i thought mr hughes announcing it on the loadspeaker was inappropriate. if i were to die (sorry that's a really bad example, i'm not going anywhere too soon guys ahaha >_O!) i would not want my death announced all over the school for the whole world to know. the teachers should've been told earlier and perhaps senior students too..?

i hated how random junior students who most probably haven't lost anyone just pretend to be upset but end up making themselves looking really stupid and ignorant? those annoying half mocking/ignorant kids.. i dno maybe it's just me =_=?! okay just shut up jade, yeah i didn't think telling the whole school was appropriate. ahh..

soo today i woke up pretty late. it feels so good to have 9+ hours of sleep! i have to try finish work earlier and try to msn/games/youtube/BLOG less so i can get more sleep. i think it will do me some good (Y).

anywaay this arvo i just tried making a few more roses. oh and then my mum took me to castle hill spotlight to get my pattern. i hope the pattern i bought is good O_O. i think im going to make the foundation of my dress out of taffeta.. linen isn't one of those fabric suggestion thingys on the pattern? s:

lalala.. so after running around spotlight for 45 minutes we drove to towers to pick up tara from work. ahh lincraft has 50% off all fabric in store! :D my mum went a bit crazy and bought this really nice silk fabric and this other cotton fabric that are usually really expensive. she got them at 50% off PLUS tara's work discount so i guess thats.. a lot off (Y)! mm and i had been drooling over this silk chiffon thats been sitting at the back of the store for ages.. today i ended up buying 3 metres of the fabric cos of the 50% off and the workers discount. i'm so happy (:

so i guess all the cabra fabric i have now.. i'll use for my experiments OR if anyone wants it i guess i can give it to you. (it was really cheap so it doesn't really bother me hahaha) x)

hmm and i've been sitting here for 10 minutes now trying to think up what else to write about but i honestly have nothing else to say! life is pretty boring for jade whiteman right now hahah.

oh yee that's right. i told everyone i was starting driving lesson on saturday but i got dates mixed up == i start next saturday wooo (:

do you guys like this rain were getting? i'm loving it! nice and cool outside, i went for a run in the rain today. it felt so good :D

so this past week not much has gone on i guess. super long music lesson on tuesday, photos wednesday, start of rose orders for valentines day on thursday and jap party! :D

start of term and we're already having a party hahahahah. i think mr weir planned it so we'd work hard after having a bit of fun? i don't think that actually worked out, we were still pretty crazy as usual next lesson XD

friday i don't remember doing much.. just berni having fun with my camera (: i'll upload pictures on facebook later.

today i woke up at 11.30! i had 12 hours of sleep and i had a bad dream in the middle of it. these days i keep having bad dreams! and they're always so random >< things suchs as giant domestic cats chasing and wanting to eat me to people eating grass shaped carpet then after they want to chase me and eat my hair? -shrug- O_O

hmm so today i was textiles-ing most of the day 8) im trying to make different roses to see what will look best on my dress. i really liked the result of the white fabric rose! .. i think it looks better in real life mhm x)

and also check out the haiiir! heart shaped cartoonish bobble heads (and baby blue highlights xD).. the hair is similar to what i drew in my sketches! i never thought of it being done in real life but this picture just reinforces my ideas ahhh!!! i want to do something like that for fashion show LOL berni we should do crazy hair designs too. can i make your hair an afro? :D NO ACTUALLY.. i can see this kind of style going with your major work O:

okay so i'll get back to my normal school life! on tuesday music 1,2&ext. had our very first 'four/five hour long lesson' @_@. we had music 3rd period and then we had lunch. after that is sport and that's when we have our music class now wooo yeee! mm so berni left at 3 cos she had an ortho appointment, willy, blessing and tenzin left at 3.30 (cos music 1's and 2's leave an hour earlier! ><), sam and pius left at 3.50 so i was the only one left to stay the full time until 5pm.. with mrs deagle hahahahah O_O

after the rest of exts had gone i actually got quite a bit of work done cos i had deagle alone with me for a full hour and a bit. mm mrs deagle isn't so bad when you're alone with her, i find it easier to talk to her. she also seems to have a great interest in my major work which will most probably be the 3000 word essay. i'm actually pretty excited for the essay now! (:

today we had school photos! i curled my hair with my new straightener 8) AND IT LOOKED AWESOME IN THE MORNING BUT THE WIND BLEW IT OUT OF SHAPE. so i ended up with wavy/semi-curly hair? ): i actually wanted those really bouncy curls. really love that cutesy doll like look right now haha! (berni i stole the pic off you sorry!)

mm.. we didn't go straight to class after photos x) and i just realised i talked about hair a lot in this blog. well a lot more than i was supposed to anyway.
