so i wanted to make a hat. a top hat. the same size as the christmas hats berni and i made last year. now i've learned that mass producing top hats is out of the question. it took me over an hour to make it and it still looked dodgy LOL. i had to undo and rethread and the redo parts cos it was so fiddly haha. after i tried on the hat it looked a bit silly.

i realised i still had a billion years worth of silk chiffon in my room from my major so i ended up making a little bow scarf. the dyeing was so fun.. playing around with colours. i ended up using 3 parts red and 1 part yellow to get the colour. it was really coooool. the annoying part was sewing off the edges. it was like my french seam that i had to do for my major work. french seams with chiffon are freaking.. crazy.

i tied it around my neck and it looked really cool! but then i thought id try it in my hair.. jsut for fun. i ended up wearing it in my hair cos it looked sooo coool xD!

i then proceeded to make a pink kaftan but i realised i had to study. so right now i have a half done silk kaftan lying in my study. i'll prolly finish it after exams.

may sound and look really boring but yeah.. it was annoying (haha) and overall really fun to make! i'm excited for jap to finish so i can get berni sensei to come over and help me with dress making.. :)

okay then.. i have to go finish my tafe portfolio which is due in.. TOMORROW OMG.

hmm recap?

★ oh yess so i went to a 'pink party' for work. and i got paid to attend. EHEHEHE. getting paid to attend parties.. that's the life lol! so there was lots of pink food and decoration and i met all the girls at work. they're all really nice, i'm excited for work now ahh! :) christmas info was given and this years limited editions and packaging are soo pretty and smell really good! excited to see more! :D

★ i realised i had NO pink clothing on the day of the pink party. i ended up making little bits of clothing and accessories for the night. it was quite time consuming, but it also ended up being the most fun i've had in a while cx

★ yat came over yesterday to study! she got work done.. i didn't get as much done.. nah but i still got some done bahaha. yat helped me with 2u and it d id help so yeah, thanks yat! :)

★ maths and textiles today. maths was.. let's not talk about maths. textiles was.. okay? gah i hope i get a band 6. but i think i'm gna get a band 5 :/ i want to make ms aroyan proud! and keep the textiles standard in our school continue to go higher!

★ after textiles berni's mum dropped jackie and i off at macq uni and we headed for macq centre. i grabbed a chatime and we window shopped a bit.. then we took the 619. jackie got off on m2 and i continued for towers.

★ met ray at castle hill library. and then one of his friends was really awkward but.. funny haha. after getting $$ from ray i was supposed to bus it back home.

★ but i was soo cbb.

★ ended up talking to a few people and met some kids. they were really niiice :) i miss talking and being socialll.

★ talked to this guy who does music 2.. rambled on about the exam which is TOMORROW.

★ that guy was really nice.. c:

★ but i can't find him on facebook.

★ BAHAHAHAH stalker jade is back.

★ after some chatting, dotorzorg said she could take me home. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOT!

★ and then it hit me how stupid i have been.. not going for my L's when i was 16. it's such an inconvenience now - having to ask people for lifts OR.. taking public transport when it takes 1 hour to get somewhere. i could be on my RED P's if i started when i was 16.

★ not finding music 2 guy and not having my P's have made me depressed.

★ oh and to add to that.. my lack of knowledge on music is making me.. EVEN MORE depressed.

★ and here i am.. blogging.

★ ye i am just.. SO AWESOME.

★ oh and i'm 4% away from being capped. i still have 9 days until the internet month is over so uh.. this might be the last blog for a week? or maybe not.. xD

★ i had more stuff to say but i just.. forgot now.. and it's like.. 11.30pm - i guess i better go sleep now if i have an exam tmr haha.

it still hasn't hit me that english is over! and the thought of it completely finished is uh.. sad but kind of relieving so i'm happy (: BUT it's more sad than happy >__O? english was actually my favourite subject along with textiles. i think the fact that i had an awesome english teacher :3 and my class ♥ !! best english class ever haha (:

i want to give special mentions to (in no particular order):

VIVIAN short cutie x) always having something thoughtful to say and it was fun taking sleeping shots of you during classes!

RANDAL & DEAN both making provocative comments which forced me to think >:/ and in the end i'd facepalm at your extremely immature inside jokes -siigh-

YAT the one who always unintentionally made sharp unnecessary comments. and didn't realise what she had actually said! xD

MAURICE basketball. late to class. having work that was ACTUALLY good. HAHA!

IVAN & JAMIE 1st and 2nd in english? well top 5 anyway.. i'm sure. your fights over twilight and harry potter (AND IVAN SIDING WITH EDWARD CULLEN LOL)! and pretty much all your disagreements were eventually heard in class. it was fun to hear them xD!

JACKIE food provider, seat buddy and you always helped me when i lost track in class (:

ELIZA & STEPH you two were pretty quiet in class but when we were paired up in group work i was happy when i was paired up with one of you. your powerful short stories that sometimes did sound a bit cliché when first listening in.. ended up being some of the best pieces of work i read in my two years of advanced english with you lot.

RENS the talks we had together were really.. nice (: the small rants i had with you about the future and other crap when i was in a bout of doubt made me feel good cos you always in the end had something positive to say. i hope everything you said about my future actually comes true lolll!

JOEL mr school captainnn you were (almost ..LOL) always fair whenever i came to you with a problem so thanks for bearing with me (: i dno why but i feel like i didn't see you as much in class towards the end of our english classes. i'm guessing on captain stuff.. maybe.. haha

RENS & JOEL TOGETHER always talking to each other in class but always able to keep up with class discussions! your abilities to attentively listen to two conversations at one time completely amazes me haha.

NIKI texting you in a stalker-ish way to say hi from across the room when i saw you were secretly using your phone ehe 8)

MEI WING & ANDY i always made a face at you two when you turned around 8) and you'd always just laugh back at me. thanks for the laughs in class x)

BLESSING (yes i'm echoing ms jeffery.. but this is true!) your constant calming smile which we all found so refreshing and the fact that you were able to do ESL and opted for english.. ADVANCED! and actually ranked quite well inspires us alll!

RICKY & MOSES the quietest kids ever. i did have nice chats with you in the past two years and i'm happy i got to know you guys (:

MS JEFFERY jaffa! i'm going to miss your looong winded stories about your husbands broken ankle and your trips in europe. i really hope i can keep in touch with you! ..miss always had the cutest stories to tell bahaha.

..okay so i was supposed to mention a few people.. i got carried away.. i love my english class haha :') i hope i can keep in touch with all of you in the future!

okay so enough of my mushy english ramble. gussity GUSSEER had mentioned his -TO DO LIST- and i have been.. compiling a to do list too. instead of studying.. i've been making plans.. sometimes. when i'm totally drained from something.. like maths. anyway i thought i'd share my plans (and i hope all do go ahead after exams!)

TO DO LIST:

1. work so i can have a money face $_$.. :D!
2. and the i can shop HAHAHA. i have a massive list of things to buy :3
3. markets marathon with yat and berni. i hope you two are reading; we are gna go to the kiribilli markets at 6am one day. apparently it's the best time to get vintage finds eg. authentic vintage chanel.. for $50 zooommmgggg.
4. watch the whole original pokémon series.
5. beach after i.. exercise @.@!
6. formal! + afters.. HP ANYONE? ;D
7. JAMBEROO EHEHE
8. totally clean the house out of jade's HSC notes. OR.. i may hand them over to tara if they're useful.. HAHAHA SUFFER TARAAA.
9. buffets and yum cha. anyone go to the iron chef in cabra? IT'S THE BEST.
10. gus is going to teach me guitar :D!
11. i'm going to attempt piano/vocal covers (tara and i are working on a capella works atm.. discovered that we actually sounds reasonable when tara maintains her alto position and i take on the right intervals for soprano xD)
12. i have collected fabric throughout the year. so hopefully i can sucessfully make a few dresses for the summer - berni i think i may need your guidance. BRING ON THE COOKING AND SEWING SLEEPOVER.
13. save up for nz, singapore & shanghai.
14. first time to go clubbing.. LISA i'm coming with you after HSC!
15. HEY CHRISTMAS IS 9 WEEKS AWAY. i went christmas shopping with my mum today ehehe! (we start christmas shopping early lol)
16. christmas is a big thing in my family. we start cooking a week before haha. our christmas lunches and dinners are MASSIVE. so plenty of cooking and preparation to do. tara and i are attempting a croquembouche or macaroon tower this year. i really hope that it actually goes to plan.
17. i may finally get my chance to go paragliding or bungee jumping when i'm in nz! *fingers crossed my dad will still agree in 6 weeks time!*
18. to farmer readers: i can't do melbourne anymore.. cos of work.. and lack of $$.. TT! if you guys do still plan to go let me know cos i can help with planning. WE MUST HAVE A.. SMALL TRIP SOMEWHERE.
19. rachel wang's gna be in sydney again! hope that i will be able to meet up with her for atleast one day while she's down here!
20. possibly revive the spadeandbernay youtube account.. we had so many awesome ideas before haha!
21. three words: BOXING DAY SALES. i'm pretty sure i'll have a day off work on the 26th cos towers usually reopens on the 27th. *i'm praying it will continue to stay that way* i wna line up and be the top 50 to get that $100 myer gift card. AHH!

oh man i have soo much more to say but my mums making me go shower. i guess it is pretty late haha.. argh i have a week left to study for 3 exams. i have 3 exams to do in 2 days (maths, textiles & music 2 will be finished on monday & tuesday next week)!

advice: do 1-2 hours of work.. watch 2-3 videos and get back to work. repeat until done! videos such as these became my best friend during my holiday.. cos i didn't get to see anyone.

because i'm so unoriginal i'm also going to do a 10 random things about me post. yay.

1. my toenails are almost always painted. i never paint my hand nails cos of piano and i always thought it felt weird.

2. i remember trying to eat a lot of things when i was little. grass, paper.. but i still remember that sucking my toes was like.. the tastiest. really salty. yeah..

3. facebook addicted. even when there was nothing new on the feed or anything interesting i had to go on. i'd stalk a lot of people and find out new random bits of nothing OR i'd just stare at my profile page for no reason. i logged off last night and randal's changing my password. i won't get it back until november now.

4. i want to be a fashion designer. but i don't want to be famous. but then again i want crazy famous celebrities to wear my designs and i want to be really successful. i don't know how that would actually work. the dream is for tara and i start our own fashion business -JUD AND TUD- cos that's what we call each other. hmm it would be nice if that happened (and it actually was successful) haha.

5. sometimes i think my pee smells like popcorn.

6. the one thing that i'm really good at is remembering birthdays. that is all. aha TT

7. i am the ultimate sweet tooth. no matter how full i am, i will always have room for dessert haha.

8. i have the world's lamest dad. he has the worst jokes and he loves to poke fun at names. sarah, i don't know if you read my blog but whenever i mention you, my sister happens to mention you or maybe if you pop up somewhere in a conversation my dad will giggle and say 'sarah lee?!' 'OR DO YOU MEAN BLUEBERRY DANISH HAHAH?' *siiigh* -facepalm- ahh there are a few more names he loooves to pick on. when he came to graduation he made a few new jokes out of names urgh lols.

9. i regret not applying for the australian amazing race. if the opportunity rises again for a second season, i am applying. anyone interested in pairing with me? (must be 18+) haha! the dream would be TEAM JADE AND BERNI.. i can see us running around getting lost. prolly be first group to be eliminated cos i'll get directions wrong or read the clue wrong.

10. last week i had my first glass of alcohol since being 18. it tasted crap. my dad got upset cos he said it was really expensive wine lol.. ^^ last week i also found a formal dress and got a job, yay!

mm ye.. 10 random things about me post. when i first started writing i realised my first 3 points were about HSC so i deleted them and changed it.. so the blog wouldn't turn out depressing ahh TT!
