only thing that sucks is that maths and textiles are on the same day, oh well. hmm they still had economics on my timetable.. nyeh gna ask about it tmr.
argh haven't blogged in a while, sorry D: ! i always start writing one every second day but then i get stuck 15 minutes into it so i just scrap it and then next day or two later i feel guilty for not blogging.. um yeeah 8)
so school has started! i recieved my jap and english results back. they weren't really great.. totally screwed up english anyway ahahah..
but lets go back for a recap!
i was going to continue my day of work experience with valerie last wednesday ehehe.
that wednesday my parents had to go to bankstown to get their cars serviced and meet up with some friends so they set off early. seeing as they had to leave home by 8 i was dropped off at beecroft station at 7.30am yeee! there was the usual mad rush of office people looking for seats on trains.. and then i was silly enough to choose a seat facing backwards so i was looking back at around.. 40 faces on the train, it was so awkward x) i tried to keep my face looking down or outside the window the whole time mm haha.
arrived at central super early. waited for the 378 to come. argh i wonder how many people go to unsw?! i sat at my bus stop for around 20 minutes and almost every bus that went past my stop was a 891 bus to unsw and each bus that drove past was totally full o.o plus i swear each 891 that passed came 30 seconds after each other, that's a lot of buses D:! hmm yes so my bus came and i arrived at paddington at 9.15am. i start work at 10am. i walked up and down oxford street from the post office to akira a few times, then i headed for max brenner and got myself a large mtic (:
i sat on the wall just off valerie's store for around 20 minutes.. argh i must've looked so odd, just sitting there by myself with no stores open ehehe. at 9.55 this girl was across the road and she was coming towards me. she gave me this super huge grin :D and she was definitely looking at me so i waved loooool o_o! she introduced herself as annie, just moved from melbourne, dropped out of her engineering uni course, decided to come up to sydney, to study fashion design at east sydney tech woooaah O: mm she's really nice and apparently she's twenty but i swear i look older than her haha D:
hmm okay ima skip heaps.. sam from year 10 came in at 10.30 and she took care of the store pretty much the whole day o.o annabelle and i were asked to come to the back of the store and valerie just shoved a dress each in our faces and shes said 'you guys will be modelling for me today' :) mm she had her samples come in so we fixed up all 32 pieces and it took us the whole day ehehe. i really love doing this work experience with valerie! so far i've done a different thing everyday plus during the sample fittings she even let us have our own input into her designs.. ahh so awesome! i wish i could show you some of the new season collection but i couldn't take photos because they will be revealed at fashion week/her website!
valerie let us off at 5.50 instead of 6 but i asked about buying fabrics off her (she's selling/sold her old seasons fabric because they're taking up too much room in her place plus she also has another room full of fabric at her mum's place hahah O:! mm i ended up buying two identical fabrics, one black and one white. i plan to make dresses out of them.. some time.. but i'm not 100% confident with constructing everything myself argh D: hmm anyway so i ended up with my rolls of fabrics tied up in a massive plastic bag and then annabelle drove me to central station so i didn't have to walk and bus it to central taking up an extra 30 minutes of my time yee.. omgsh she's so nice :)
on thursday the farmer's teddy bear picnic was supposed to be on.. but it got cancelled ): i ended up staying at home all day but ray came to my place at around 6? we ended up mucking around watching heaps of youtube videos and literally rofl-ing cos he just watches the funniest most random things everrr ahaha xD he had dinner and then tara came back from work.. so then there were 3 of us sitting there watching youtube vids and rofl-ing together yeeuh!
we went over some timothydelaghetto vids.. hmm i dno i thought this was hilarious haah XD!
mm yuuups heaps of youtube and tetris.. mm and ray left my place at around 11.15pm haha!
oh yeah another video that ray showed me, EVERYONE LISTEN TO THIS WHEN YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES TO SPARE! i mean it! get headphones and close your eyes, it's soo awesome omgomgogmgomg :D!
friday was my last day working with valerie ): she was pretty busy that day running off to stores to send off stock and all that so she gave me her laptop. most of the day i hung around emily and i was required to come up with 50+ girls names. the names were for her new collection, she's planning to name each look for her new ss2011 collection! i ended up with 108 names and i saved them on the document for valerie. i didn't get to say a proper goodbye to valerie because she was still out when i finished up. i ended up writing a small thank you note on the name list document for her to read when she got back.
.. i don't even remember what i did on saturday now. argh my awesome goldfish memory ^^.
there was a plan for all the music 2+ext kids except tenzin (as we thought he was still overseas) to head for sam shin's place on sunday. it ended up failing. why?
- at 9am mother decides to get all paranoid so she starts saying weird crap like 'ooh i don't know these boys, you and berni might get raped' .. zzz LOL it's sam and pius they're scared of me hah! - my dad calls to tell my mum he doesn't want me going to some boys house that he doesn't know. my dad usually has the final say. =_= - my mum calls berni's mum so in the end they both start thinking the same thing. berni's mum decides it best to have the study sesh at their house so she can supervise so no 'weird boy stuff' might go on?! x_x - i call sam and he's fine with the arrangements. - i arrive at berni's place late (sorry berni!) and sam's still not there. - me thinks sam had a superbaad hangover from dennis' party. - so sam decides not to come so he can sleep all day loooool. - pius calls to say he's held up at church so we tell him to not worry about coming. - so it was just me and berni. - it was still pretty fun though! XD
composition work (that i actually didn't touch that day ==), eating, talking, textiles-ing, watching year 10+ school videos and the proposal.. yeeep, i left berni's place at around 6 i think and that was my sunday!
ahh the last day of holidays ): on monday berni and i headed for the city.. did some stuff heheh :) and then we watched 'she's out of my league' at george street event cinemas. we thought we'd only be paying $8 as i had registered our student monday cards earlier in the morning but they take a full day to register properly. we ended up having to pay $14 each to see the movie. argh waste of $6, i'm sorry berni! next time we go on a monday, it will be $8 yee! :) the movie was better than i expected, pretty funny hahah! i think it's more fun watching it with a friend who has a kettle squeak sound for a laugh xD! argh and webbed feet! man, that was funny :D! we left early (2.30pm) as i was supposed to go to clark rubber to get my foam for my textiles major but i fell asleep in the car on the way home. my dad thought it was best to just send me home haha.
hmmm.. so school started on tuesday. i had a crappy day because i had a load of bad stuff on my mind.. but i sorted out everything with my teacher so i'm not stressed over it anymore :)
wednesdaaaay.. normal?
on thursday i rushed my mum and sister to leave home early as i had morning class. i rang the doorbell/video answering at door thingy at berni's house.. berni sounded really surprised that i was there o.o she said we didn't have morning class that day LOL! i could've had an extra 15 minutes of sleep and then tara wouldn't have been angry at me for the rest of the day hahaha. we (tara, berni & myself) ended up walking from berni's place back to eastwood station so we could catch the bus to school.
school was.. normal? yeee.
i had 5th period free so i left school at lunchtime and i headed to bondi for 2 formal inspection/meetings. i'm thinking that the first place that i went to might be the place we'll be going with! buuut.. i'll keep you rsc guys posted about that later within the next week or two yay :)
friday was pretty much the same.. except that there was the anzac service on for assembly. oh yeah and year 12's got a 'stress relief pack' thingy :) pack of smarties for smart kids, when you're over worked you should have a timeout and when you need a break, have a kit kat :D ahh so lame loooooooool! there was also some relaxation cd, rsc stress ball and some sheets and inspiration quote things.. OH AND all those rsc kids reading.. did you see that 'symptoms of depression' card? i was freaked because i was reading the card and it said if

and long weekend now yeee! i wish school was only 4 days a week. i'd love 3 day weekends every week! i'd be less stressed and i'd have alot more work done. i have a lot more energy during weekends and i seem to manage time better because i'm more alert. and that's because i don't have to get up at 5.50 IN THE MORNING D:
humdedum i'm half rambling now i better go. i guess i better call valerie soon to find out what happened to her show. annabelle fb messaged me yesterday saying that valerie had her showcase at fashion week cancelled. oh nuuuu ):

oh yes and i won't be blogging as often anymore.. i think. maybe once a week? i'll see how i go. this blog takes so much of my time :3 ahh and i've also cut down my time on msn. if i'm on, i'm quickly telling/asking/sending a friend something and then i'm usually off within the next 15 minutes. proper study time from now on.. for the next 6 months. yeeeah only 6 months left everyone! we can do iiiiit :D

on tuesday i spent most of my time at home studying. i had piano at 2.30 and after that my dad took me out to see clash of the titans. it's alright.. if you guys wna watch it, don't go see it in 3D ahaha. OR just wait for it to come out on dvd or.. download it heh. some of the parts of the movie were.. interesting? and quite a few things were changed from the original movie. hmm.. and sam worthington's not a bad actor hmm.. yeah 8)
my dad took me out to sushi train afterwards woo (: AND AFTER THAT.. we went to mcdonalds to have a hot fudge sundae each ehehe. mmm tuesday was a pretty good day. i don't think i'll be going to see any more movies though.. UNLESS..
to all students: the cheapest day for all students at event cinemas will be mondays! my dad saw this poster thing up the front so we asked about it. the guy ended up giving me a handful of these keyring cards and they can get students $8 movie tickets on mondays only and they last until.. april next year? so yee, go get a keyring card everyone! or you can just get one off me if you cbb to get one XD
but yes, back to my point. mondays are cheapest so i MIGHT go see a movie on monday if anyone's up for it haha.
today i went to valerie's and.. omg i cbb anymore.

monday i had work experience again! i was there with annabel and jessica from year 10 that day. i did 6 hours of hand needle work. ahh my hands hurt a looot afterwards hahaa! we had to finish and touch up the collar necklaces that the girls had started the day before. this was one of the four necklaces i finished off :)

tuesday i had a quiet day at home. oh and i had piano lesson, as usual.
on wednesday our english class had our english writing workshop! everyone in our class showed up except for jacob and wendy i think.
mm it was quite fun, and i got a lot of work done too! ahh i love my english class ehehe.
on thursday i was supposed to have formal inspections done at bondi but one of the ladies was sick and the other one sent a late reply explaining how they're closed during the easter break. oh poo. i ended up having a quiet day at home until 3 and then i had a driving lesson with my dad. we went out to glenorie, galston then back through castle hill. driving at 80 kms an hour. omgsh it was so fast, driving at that speed freaked me out ahaha ^^; mm after that my dad dropped me off at towers and i went late night shopping with my mum for a little while. and that was my thursday mhm.
i had work experience again on friday. i didn't realise i had to buy a ticket because buses to oxford street are prepaid on normal working days. i got onto the 9.40 bus and then the guy said 'you have to buy a ticket'. jessica and i freaked out so we ran off the bus, hurried to central station to buy a travel ten and then ran back for the next bus. i had to call valerie letting her know we'd be late. we ended up arriving at 10.11 we apologised many times but valerie assured us it was fine ahh x(
i did fabric stocktaking for 3 hours and the other 5 hours i made VT tags for fashion week/weekend that's coming up. other cool stuff happened that ia already told berni about.. i cbb to write anymore about it and i don't think anyone else would be interested anyway lol ==
after work i went to the night markets with my mum, tara and susanna. i didn't take many photos but here is me.. being stupid at town hall station (:
when i was on the way home yat called to ask if i could go paddington and glebe markets the next day with her and berni. i highly doubted i could join them but my mum was nice and agreed to let me go wow :)

hello all (: i think this might be a long blog. recap from monday? okay.
so monday we only had 2 periods (heheheh) maths and textiles. i got my maths result back.. but we won't talk about that :) 2nd was textiles so i worked on my second panel of my skirt. AND AFTER THAT AROUND 15 YEAR 9-12 STUDENTS HEADED OFF TO THE OPERA HOUSE TO WATCH ENCORE 2009 WOO. went we arrived at circular quay all students separated for around 10 minutes to buy food. seeing as berni and i had eaten our lunch on the bus/walking to circular quay, we decided to buy gelatissimo ice-cream hah. white chocolate flavour ahh, the best! 8)
hmm yup so after eating all of us headed to the opera house. we met sepy there 8) i didn't recognise many schools that attended o.o i think alot of private schools were there.. s: -FAST FORWARD..- overall the performances were awesome, really inspiring BUT encore 2008 was better than this years lot. the selection process sounds stupid, i reckon alison should've performed! she's just as good as those guys and her piece was fun ehehe 8)

thursday, last day of school! 3 hours of textiles, finished my sublimation ;D and english was fun, the most laid-back english class ever since being in senior english classes hahah. jeffery spammed easter eggs to all of us kids yay!
good friday! cecilia planned an outing in the city. firstup met with berni and we found cherry around the corner of QVB. we headed to wynyard so we could have max brenner. not long after that we met karen, i think that's henry's girlfriend ye? ahh she saw my L's license when i took out my wallet. when she saw my birthday she was like OOOH YOU'RE OLDER THAN ME. argh she's born in 1993 and shes already in uni, so smart ehhh! that made me feel so small and.. old haha. after karen came, camie and cecilia arrived. the last to turn up was lisa 8)
we headed to some karaoke place around town hall..? ahh K for over 3 hours! my head was pounding afterwards hahah XD so yes, after lots of singing and being silly we headed to the chinatown night markets and i got takoyaki yayers ;D -FAST FORWARD AGAIN- even though my head was so sore after K ,overall it was a really good day. it was good catching up with cecilia, i had a good chat with her on the train ride home ehehe.
yesterday i started work experience at valerie tolosa!
we picked up jaclyn at 8 and we headed off for beecroft station -FAST FORWARD- arrived at paddington at 9.40 so jackie and i bought max brenner from across the road! then we still had time to spare so we walked around the front of the markets for 5 minutes and then we headed for val's store.
the store was still closed up so we thought valerie would come soon. the thing was we didn't know valerie lives above her store so we sat outside staring at other stores along william street looking out for some woman that looked like valerie. we sat there for 20 minutes until 10.15 and then we realised that the lights in the store were now on D: valerie laughed when we told her we were outside that whole time and she explained how she just lived on top ahh x)
the first thing she got us to do was steam a wedding dress that she had made for this girl that was coming in O: i was surprised that she'd straightaway trust us in touching up a wedding dress she designed! anyway i steamed clothes for 3 hours after that and jackie went out front to help the girl with fitting her wedding dress. after that val had to go out and grab a few things so we had to take care of the store O_O AND THE PHONE RANG! argh we freaked when we heard it , val hadn't told us what to do if the phone rang so i picked up.. 'valerie tolosa, this is jade speaking.. ^^' and then i heard a laugh and 'hi jade' ahh! it was berni. jackie and i breathed a sigh of relief when it was only berni calling. if it was some other customer i'm sure we would have screwed up LOL. ahh okay guys, i have to go soon so i'll just upload photos ;D

so this morning. i woke up and i felt something heavier on top of me. i moved a bit and heard something drop to the floor. it was an easster egg x) ahh my mum woke up early to put easter eggs all over my bed. she still treats me like i'm five some times. i like it lol (:
mm all my family left home to go pick up my godmother from singapore. she's staying with us for 2 or 3 days. they decided to take her down to terrigal and i couldn't fit in the car cos she's come down to sydney with a frnd and my mum thought it was best for me to stay home. i think it was a good idea too. i was still pretty tired from yesterday and i had work and cleaning to do.
oh yes, did any of you guys get your high resolves post cards back? i received it yesterday! i was so surprised ahahah. november 2009, last time i'd ever work with high resolves. i decided to write myself a proper note to myself this time. i usually write nonsense or get other people to sign and send it off to me in 6 months time.. but this time i read my post card. it made me think about some things. a lot of things. i found it quite inspiring and amusing. i'm definitely going to keep this postcard. from me.. ahah how sad (:
but anyway the main message that we learned that day was 'be the change you want to be in the world.' hmm.. yeah, that made me think differently. even though it may be boring, tiring and extremely annoying at times to do tasks, in the end it all pays off. and even though you're just one small person in this massive world, you can still make a difference. i'm gna put that up on my study board so i can look at it everytime i do work. it makes me happy.. sort of haha.
anyway everyone will be home soon so i better get dressed, ready to go out for dinner!
